Well-furnished spacious lecture halls equipped with latest teaching aids are available to have        a highly interactive session of classroom teaching. All the lecture halls are well illuminated and       properly ventilated with modern seating arrangement.

TRANSPORTATION

Transport for daily commuting is generally one of the worries of parents. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of transportation, we have made arrangements for College buses for students as well as staff. We ensure a hassle-free and safe transport facility to our staff and students.

LABORATORY

The institute has required number of laboratories equipped with all the necessary equipment and instruments for various subjects of Nursing Courses. The laboratories are developed as per the norms of IndianNursingCouncil(INC) and WestBengal Nursing Council (WBNC) and are designed in such a manner that better working environment and safety can be provided.

HOSTEL

Dedicated Hostel is available for suitable accommodation of the students. The rooms arespacious and well-furnished in order to make the stay comfortable. The hostel campus has high boundary wall all around along with 24 – hour security arrangement to provide extreme security and safety for the inmates. There is a dedicated Hostel Warden (female) to supervise the students. The reare various facilities available in the Hostel Campus, such as-Hygienic Canteen, Recreation Centre, Play ground etc.

CLINICAL TRAINING

According to the course plan, the students will be given enough exposure to the clinical area. The clinical training facility will be provided in well-equipped hospital with all the advanced facilities and specialist scovering all departments like Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Paediatrics etc. Selected field trips to Urban Primary Health Centre and Rural Primary Health Centre will also Be arranged for clinical practice.

 

RAGGING FREE ENVIRONMENT

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the institution as well as hostel campus. In case the applicant for admission is found to have indulged in ragging in the past or if it is noticed later that she has indulged in ragging, admission can be refused or she shall be subjected to penal action as  per provisions of law, also expelled from the institution, as detailed in the law concerned and as per Hon’ble Supreme Court of India directions in this regard. After the admission is confirmed, each student has to give undertaking regarding non- involvement in ragging.
 

COUNSELLING AND GUIDANCE

Counselling for a better adjustment to life is provided by the expert counsellors and teachers which helps the students to solve the problems arising out of academic and non-academic challenges. Career counselling services will be arranged to assist students on avast spectrum of subjects relating to career planning, employment prospects, career choices and job search. Counselling will also be provided to help the students in maintaining a healthy mind and cordial relationship among themselves. Services of trained and experienced clinical psychologists are made available to any student who needs guidance at anytime.
